Hello
I design the human side of complex systems — from Boeing flight decks to Google AI agents.
Fifteen years. Three domains. One question that has never changed: when the system fails, can the human take back control?
I've applied that question to flight deck automation at Boeing, wearable input paradigms at Microsoft, EMS training platforms at Katalyst, AI literacy at Google, and autonomous agent deployment in developer tooling. The domain shifts. The design challenge doesn't.
I prefer to work in a strong team environment and see myself as a "Mick Taylor" type of team member who will stop at nothing short of perfection.
What i've been up to...

Working with me...
"I worked directly with Dan for nearly 3 years, creating a first of its kind health product. In a space where there were no existing best practices to draw on, Dan defined and then created entirely new and unique experiences. He is able to sit down with the development team and work hand in hand creating user experiences that are groundbreaking, best of class, and incredibly easy to use.
In the years since I worked with Dan, I have yet to come across another designer of the same caliber. Dan is not only full of ideas, but those ideas are fully fleshed out, take into account real world concerns, and he is able to work across teams to execute on those ideas and bring them to market."
